Self-Reliance

I recently discovered a Great Work. It is as much an antidote to doubt as Meditations is to difficulty, and meditation is to an unpresent mind. In fact, I'll paraquote Ralph Waldo Emerson in reference to his own material:
"I read the other day some verses written by an eminent [writer], which were original and not conventional. The soul always hears an admonition in such lines, let the subject be what it may."
